Aim: identify essential thematic areas to qualify health professionals in Digital Health, a growing relevance area. Methods: Scoping review conducted in 2024 according to the PRISMA methodology. The studies’ screening was double-blind with a third evaluator in cases of disagreements. Results: out of the 20 eligible articles, the majority (10) targeted multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The objective of 11 studies was curricular development. Thematic areas were created according to the articles’ content, of which got more emphasis: Data management, health records, clinical and medication documentation (20) and Health information technologies: basic use of computers, tablets, mobile apps and internet (19). Conclusion: it is essential to promote nomenclature standardization of Digital Health thematic areas to ease their curricular implementation and guarantee the education of students and professionals aligned with the demands of professional practice.
