Technologies for life support training: challenges and potentialities

Objective: To identify the potentialities and challenges surrounding the use of digital games and simulators for life support training. Method: An integrative literature review was conducted, analyzing 12 studies. Results: A variety of applications of these technologies were highlighted, such as their use in informal contexts and for teaching/research. Conclusion: It was concluded that the application of these tools in professional education requires trained professionals to guide students in their use.
