Informatization of Manaus health transport: innovation and transformation

Objective: Report the experience of developing and implementing an information system, addressing the needs, challenges, perspectives of those involved and the assessment of software quality and institutional maturity. Method: This is a technological application study with a descriptive, quantitative and qualitative approach. Results: Between 2011 and 2023, the program grew 577%, making manual management unfeasible. In 2024, the use of the information system led to an increase of 29.4% in the number of users served and an 11.1% increase in journeys made. According to reports, computerization has improved the accuracy, reliability and security of data. Assessments based on ISO/IEC 25010 and Prado-MMGP standards indicated high compliance and efficiency. Conclusion: The computerization of the service contributed to increasing the efficiency and management of processes, playing a crucial role in reducing inequalities and expanding access to healthcare in Manaus.
