Objective: Evaluating the SISVAL-RENAL: clinical decision support system (CDSS) to manage anemia in chronic kidney disease. Method: Study applied that evaluated and developed a CDSS encompassing the following aspects: reliability and usability (use satisfaction, effectiveness, and efficiency). We used the user-centered development approach and the openEHR archetype interoperability standard. We performed evaluations throughout the developed system lifecycle. Results: The scenario and user profile were identified before the development of SADC. The system's initial reliability evaluation rate was 72%, requiring some adjustments before the evaluation in a clinical environment. The user satisfaction rate by nephrologists in a clinical setting was 98.4%, with an effectiveness of 100%, and efficiency of 1.13% of goals achieved per second. Conclusion: The evaluative approach allowed the correction of system assertiveness problems before use in a clinical environment.
