Objective: The increasing availability of health applications highlights the need to ensure reliable information, promote adherence to treatment recommended by health professionals and prevent risks arising from inaccurate or inadequate information. However, the lack of methods to evaluate these applications makes selection difficult. A method was developed based on literature, user and professional needs, best practices and scientific evidence. Method: The method combines systematic literature review and experimental development, manifested in the form of a questionnaire, validated by experts. Results: Development of the evaluation method for health applications. Conclusion: Small adjustments were made. Fleiss' Kappa analysis indicates satisfactory reproducibility.
