Inhibidores de puntos de control inmunológico: eventos autoinmunes y minería de datos

Objetivo: investigar qué acontecimientos autoinmunes relacionados con el uso de inhibidores de puntos de control inmunitarios se han descubierto mediante la extracción de datos (ED) de la bibliografía. Método: Se utilizó una revisión rápida. Las bases de datos consultadas fueron la Biblioteca Virtual de Salud (BVS), Embase y Pubmed. Se seleccionaron quince estudios para el análisis. Resultados: los acontecimientos autoinmunes más frecuentes encontrados en la literatura a partir de la minería de datos sobre el uso de inhibidores de puntos de control inmunitarios fueron toxicidades renales, cutáneas, musculoesqueléticas, hematológicas, pulmonares, cardiacas y gastrointestinales, algunas de ellas mortales. Conclusión: con el uso de la inmunoterapia pueden producirse diversos eventos, lo que refuerza la necesidad de un seguimiento individualizado. Se sugiere que esta terapia sea investigada de acuerdo con el tipo de tumor, correlacionando con las características demográficas, así como el uso de tecnologías de la información para apoyar a los profesionales de la salud.
