Efetividade do I-PASS nas transições do cuidado: revisão de escopo

Objetivo: Essa revisão de escopo, visa identificar a efetividade e segurança do I-PASS na transferência de informações do paciente entre os profissionais de saúde durante a passagem de plantão. Método: para tal, foi adotada as recomendações da ferramenta Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) nas bases de dados PubMED, Web of Science, Scopus e outras fontes da web, utilizando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Resultados: foram encontrados 41 artigos dos quais 6 estudos foram elegíveis e apresentaram a efetividade do I-PASS evidenciando a otimização do fluxo de trabalho, redução de erros com transferência de informações e melhoria de desempenho dos profissionais promovendo a comunicação efetiva entre as equipes multiprofissionais nas transições de cuidado. Conclusão: o I-PASS se consagra como uma ferramenta de transferência de informações possível de ser integrada com outros registros eletrônicos de saúde, aumentando sua segurança e efetividade.
